Unity and the iPad- What do we know so far?

UPDATE: Unity 1.7 Supports iPad Go Get it now

I’ve had several people (including @David_Lux and @tom_gall email or tweet me asking about information about Unity use on the iPad from Apple.  Thus far I don’t know anything definite but as my mom always said, “If you wanted to know all you had to do was ask”.  So here  it goes.  On behalf of the people who have asked me and those googling frantically I’d like to ask:   Does anyone have any information about developing Unity Games on the iPad that they can share? I also posted the question at answers.unity3d.com for those who would prefer to respond in that format.

The following is a list of iPad and Unity related resources that I’ve started. Please reply in the comments so we can share your information with the community or link to this blog post from your article and it will show up in the backlinks section.  If you’d prefer to write a longer piece directly here we welcome you to register (which will give you author abilities) and submit your iPad and Unity related article.
